The Dreams I Put on Hold!

There was a woman with a thousand dreams, a thousand ambitions, and more angles than life could ever hold. She sacrificed her youth, her fire, her own path for people and moments that never understood the weight of what she gave. She stayed behind, and now she sees it’s too late to go back and rewrite anything.

And still, she knows she would probably do it all the same, because kindness is her nature, honesty is her tongue, and nothing has ever stopped her from giving every piece of herself to friends, to family, to the big dreams she wanted to pass on to others. Today she’s trying to return to her own track. She has the tools podcasts, cameras, videos but no time, and half her ideas were done by somebody else already. There are thousands of people doing what she once dreamed of, and when she first stepped into journalism it wasn’t a playground for everyone. Now even the minimally prepared have the same platform, and she doesn’t resent it her struggle is simply finding where she fits again.

This is her first statement on her blog, and yes, this is Maryam. A woman quietly wishing that a miracle will land on her shoulder and let her shine the way she knows she can.
